Terms & Conditions

1. Who we are
Folk & Shepherd is operated by Ryan Knight LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16195089), with a registered office at 1 Yorke Gardens. Folk & Shepherd is a trading name of Ryan Knight LTD. These terms will be updated to reflect Folk & Shepherd's own registered entity if and when the brand transitions to a dedicated company.
Throughout these terms, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Ryan Knight LTD trading as Folk & Shepherd. "You" refers to the person using our website or purchasing from us.
2. Our products
All products sold by Folk & Shepherd are digital reproductions of artwork, restored and prepared by us and printed to order. See our Our Reproductions page for detail on how these are made. Products are not original artworks.
All artwork reproduced and sold by Folk & Shepherd is sourced and prepared in a manner we are legally entitled to use for commercial reproduction. None of our reproductions are made from unlicensed scans of third-party material, and every piece we list has been reviewed for the appropriateness of its provenance before going to print.
3. Orders and payment
By placing an order through our website, you're making an offer to purchase, which we accept once payment is processed and your order confirmation is sent. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order at our discretion, for example in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or production issues, in which case you'll receive a full refund.
Prices are shown in selected currency and include VAT as applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, though this won't affect orders already confirmed.
4. Production and delivery
Orders are produced to order rather than shipped from stock. Estimated production and shipping timescales are set out on our Shipping & Delivery page. These are estimates, not guarantees: delays can occur, particularly around high-demand periods or due to circumstances outside our control (including but not limited to courier delays, customs processing, and force majeure events).
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Title passes to you once payment has been received in full.
5. Returns and refunds
See our Returns & Exchange page, which forms part of these terms. In summary: you may request a refund within 14 days of delivery. Where a return is agreed, the item must be shipped back to us in accordance with the process set out on that page.
This does not affect your statutory rights, including rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (for UK customers) or equivalent consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction.
6. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including but not limited to our restored reproduction files, product photography, written content, and branding, is the property of Ryan Knight LTD / Folk & Shepherd, or is used under appropriate licence, and may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without our written permission.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law. Subject to this, our liability to you for any claim arising from your order is limited to the value of that order.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
