Shipping & Delivery
Made after you order, not before
Every print at Folk & Shepherd is produced when you place your order. Nothing is pre-made or sitting in a warehouse waiting to be picked off a shelf. We work with production partners around the globe, and your order is routed to whichever facility is closest to you, printed, framed, packed, and handed to a local shipping partner from there.
This is a deliberate choice, not just an operational one. Print-on-demand means less finished stock travelling long distances, less unsold inventory ending up in landfill, and a smaller footprint per print than the traditional model of mass-producing art and shipping it globally from one warehouse. Producing locally and only when it's wanted is one of the ways we keep our own waste down, and it's a big part of how we keep prices honest too.
Timescales
- Production: 3–5 business days. Your order is routed to the production partner nearest you, printed, framed, and packed ready for collection.
- Shipping: 5–10 business days, depending on destination.
Because everything is produced close to where it's going, rather than shipped as finished stock from one central location, the overall footprint of getting a piece to your wall is smaller than it would be with a traditional mass-produced model. That's the trade-off we've chosen to make, and we think it's the right one.
You'll receive a shipping confirmation with tracking as soon as your order leaves production.

Damaged in transit?
